Our Services
Albury Accounting offers a range of business tax and accounting services, including:
Preparation and lodgement of all income tax returns, business activity statements and other tax returns
Albury Accounting can use your financial receipts and information to produce income tax returns, business activity statements and any other tax returns or statements you may need to lodge with the Tax Office. Albury Accounting can prepare the full range of income tax returns, including returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and self-managed superannuation funds. As a registered tax agent, Albury Accounting can also lodge your tax returns electronically (direct to the Tax Office), saving you time and giving you peace of mind in knowing that your returns have definitely been received by the Tax Office.
Advice and training on efficient keeping of accounting records
(including dealing with payroll and superannuation compliance).
Albury Accounting’s principal accountant, Suryan Chandrasegaran, can provide training and advice on how best to maintain personal and business tax records. This advice can ensure you meet the Tax Office’s requirements and save you time and worry in the event of a Tax Office audit. This advice can also save you money since better-maintained records mean we do not have to spend as much time preparing your tax returns. Our accountant can advise you on how to use Xero, Quickbooks, MYOB, Ledger Assistant and other accounting programs. Some accounting programs can also save you significant time and account-keeping fees as they use modern technology to automate many aspects of account-keeping work. They have also become essential in complying with government Single Touch Payroll and superannuation guarantee requirements to ensure a business’ pay slip reporting and superannuation guarantee obligations are met.
Preparation of financial statements
Albury Accounting can use your financial records to produce professional business financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow statements and detailed notes. Our principal accountant, Suryan Chandrasegaran, can also work with you to produce budgets, cash flow projections and business management reports to help make your business more successful and to achieve your business goals.
Business Advice & Coaching
Running a business can be an exciting but challenging experience. Our experienced accountant can become part of your business team to advise you on how to make your business profitable as well as to meet your business and personal goals. We can visit your business premises and review your business’ operations to try to identify areas where costs can be reduced or income increased. We also aim to use our business experience and knowledge of tax law to suggest measures on how to increase the profitability of your business. We can usually identify a few suggestions for improvement after conducting a review of a client’s business. Our one-off fees are often less than the profit increases which can be generated by our suggestions. These profit increases are usually ongoing, resulting in significant ongoing profit increases for our clients.
